Currently, various tools are available for assessing the quality of durian, such as scanners and devices to measure starch content. Although these instruments offer high levels of accuracy, their cost and limited accessibility pose significant challenges for widespread adoption. The development of a user-friendly, cost-effective, and rapid-response tool would therefore represent a valuable advancement. Such a tool could enhance quality assurance processes consumer confidence in durian.
