Achievements

Smart Pillow and Sheet for Sleep Monitoring

This innovative system provides an advanced sleep monitoring solution by embedding sensors into everyday bedding items like pillows and sheets. It tracks and analyzes physiological signals such as respiration rate, body movements, and sleep posture without requiring direct contact with the user. The system offers real-time data transmission via wireless technology, enabling healthcare professionals and users to monitor sleep quality, detect sleep disorders, and improve overall health. This technology is also adaptable for integration into other healthcare products, promoting new business opportunities.

Electronic Nose

This innovative technology replicates the human sense of smell using electronic sensors, which convert the chemical composition of odors into digital data. It can detect and diagnose various health conditions through bodily odors, such as liver cancer from breath and diabetes from urine. Developed by Mahidol University’s School of Material Science and Engineering, this cost-effective and precise technology accelerates disease screening, enabling earlier and more accurate diagnosis in clinical settings.

PASSI-COOL

We are Passi-Cool Company, presenting a thin film that enhances thermal radiation through drop-shaped microstructures on the surface, formed via a spray-coating process using a clear polymer solution. This film does not change the surface’s color, helps dissipate heat through radiative cooling, and contributes to energy savings in buildings. It creates a value-added product that is suitable for a wide range of customers, made with environmentally friendly materials and a scalable manufacturing process.
